Meet Dejan Kralj

Dejan Kralj is a Slovenian slalom kayaker who competed at the professional level from
1992 to 2012.

As a junior, he got five medals from world championships.

In 2000 he was part of the Sydney Olympic team and scored 10th place.

He won second place in the world cup 2001 and a bronze medal in the K1 team event at the 2005 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Penrith, Australia.

He also won five medals in the same event at the European Championships (3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze).
Besides the slalom competitions, he is one of the best extreme paddlers, with a silver medal from the 2013 extreme world championship in whitewater kayaking, and a member
of a rafting team Bober with six world champion titles.

After his competitive carrier, he finished two IRONMAN triathlons.

He worked as a coach for world cup athletes from New Zealand and Azerbaijan and with
top senior, junior, and child competitors around the world.

Dejan’s impeccable technique, experience, and especially his natural feeling and love for the whitewater, be it river or ocean, fuse into a unique approach to paddling adventure, where safety comes first and pleasure a close second.
